March "Off the Record" wit Bill Bolling
Join Net Impact for "Off the Record" on March 26th with Bill Bolling, Founder and Executive Director of the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The ACFB started in the late 70's as a soup kitchen in the basement of a Church and now has a distribution of more than 20 million pounds of food each year through more than 800 local and regional nonprofit organizations that feed the hungry.
"Off the Record" starts at 7:30PM on March 26th and ends around 9PM at Manual's Tavern in Virginia Highlands. Its a monthly salon where local business professionals share candidly about their perspectives and experiences on issues related to corporate responsibility, ethics and sustainability.
The event is open to all Net Impact chapters in Atlanta and all graduate students and faculty with the Robinson College of Business and the Andrew Young School of Public Policy.

February 27th "Off the Record"
Net Impact's "Off the Record" continues this February 27th from 7:30PM to 9PM at Manual's. This month's focus is on sustainable development in the City of Atlanta and features two Robinson MBA alumni.
KC Boyce is a Senior Project Manager for Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. whose responsibilities include land acquisition and development of brownfields. Mr. Boyce is also the founder of Georgia State's Net Impact Chapter. Townsend Bailey is an Associate with Damespoint, a firm working with executives in the development and implementation of strategic environmental sustainability programs. Mr. Bailey's current focus is the greening of the City of Atlanta's operations.

January "Off the Record"
Georgia State's Net Impact hosted the first "Off the Record" of the Spring semester with GSU's
Society for Human Resource Management on Wednesday, January 30th from 7:15PM to 9PM at Manual's Tavern . This month's featured guest was Linda DiSantis, the current Executive-In-Residence at The Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility. Linda's prior experience includes serving as City Attorney for the City of Atlanta and Vice President and managing attorney with United Parcel Service Corporate Legal Department. Georgia State University's Black MBA Association and Net Impact chapter host "Off the Record" Thursday November 29th from 7PM to 9PM at Manual's Tavern with Georgia Power's Vice President of Diversity Frank McCloskey and Diversity Manager Dr. Shelton Goode.
As Vice President of Diversity, Mr. McCloskey oversees the development and implementation of strategies that help sustain a culture of excellence through inclusion by improving leadership and work culture. He is the past chair of the Urban League, the leadership Atlanta board of directors and the Buckhead Business Association. Full Bio
Net Impact Conference Reveals the New Trends in Business
On the first weekend of November, approximately 1,700 MBA students converged in Nashville, TN at Vanderbilt University for the Net Impact Conference. Georgia State University's Net Impact Co-Chairs Jonathan Tescher and Keith Piper attended the conference along with MBAs from Emory's Goizueta School of Business and Georgia Tech's College of Management.
The conference was a clear indicator of where the trend in academia and business is headed. The largest contingents of Net Impact student chapters were from the top graduate business schools in the country: Yale, Northwestern, University of Michigan, University of California Berkeley, Wharton, Duke and University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. It was a sea of young intelligent people who plan to make a positive impact on the world through business. Read more
"Off the Record" with Mark Snyderman
Georgia State University's Net Impact held its last "Off the Record" on Thursday October 25th fwith Mark Snyderman, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer of The Coca-Cola Company.
As a member of the company’s Ethics and Compliance Committee and manager of the Ethics & Compliance Office, Mr. Snyderman oversees Code of Business Conduct matters, compliance policy and program development, ethics and compliance training, and compliance-related risk assessment and monitoring. "Off the Record" with Jack Ward
On September 26th Net Impact held its first event of the semester, "Off the Record" at Manual's Tavern with Jack Ward, former president, chairman and CEO of Russell Corporation. The salon brought together Flex MBA and Global Partner MBA students to dialogue about ethics and Mr. Wards personal experience as CEO of the parent company for Russell Athletics.
Breakfast with Steve Harrison
The Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibiltiy at the Robinson College of Business is Net Impact's sponsor at Georgia State University. The Center made 12 spaces available for Net Impact to attend a breakfast September 20th with Steve Harrison. He spoke on the he topic of his new book, The Manager’s Book of Decencies, describing how a positive corporate culture can improve performance, attract and retain top talent, promote good behavior, and advance a vision of shared values. Mr. Harrison is Chairman of Lee Hecht Harrison, one of the world’s largest career management services companies with over 240 offices in 36 countries. Most recently, he served as the Worldwide Chief Compliance and Human Resources Officer of Adecco, the world’s largest HR solutions company and Lee Hecht Harrison’s parent.
